Hi

I was thinking of upgrading my firmware to 3.1.3 so I can tether using MiWi but I want to sell my phone somewhere down the road.

What would be the most profitable solution... Stay where I am or upgrade to 3.1.3?

From what I've read, I'm think I can move to 3.1.3 retaining my baseband using Pwnage...is that correct..

I have not done any prep work like backing up files using...can't remember what that's called.
I also have an iPad 3G(unjailbroken at the moment but would like to jailbreak in the future) and my husband just upgraded iTunes to 9.1.1:( thinking that may cause problems.....

Could someone give me a recommendation on the smartest way to update but keep my jailbreak and ability to unlock the iPhone 3G? Or should I just stay where I am and forgo the tether and ability to use updated apps till I sell it?
