I have a Spigen Fit Series Perfect Fit in clear which is a fantastic case and gives me everything I need in a daily case. However, I recently got a fantastic new winter jacket which has one major drawback. The media pocket won't fit my iPhone 6 Plus. The exterior chest pocket will, but not with the headphones plugged in as it is a really tight fit.

So when I go snowboarding I will have to put my iPhone 6 Plus in my left or right thigh pocket of my riding pants. I am worried about this location for falls and would like a more rigid case for this particular use.

I was thinking I would get something from Otterbox, Lifeproof, or Lunatik but I don't know if they have all come out with heavy duty cases for the 6 Plus and what the recommendations are.

Anyone with any thoughts or other cases for my purpose would be appreciated. I will not be using this case everyday. It is simply for potential impact protection.

Otterbox Defender would be your best bet. Or if you can wait, go for nuud :)

Would I want to consider a folio case like the Urban Armor Gear Folio?
