Best rock bands outside of NA/Europe/Oceania?

I'm a huge fan of rock music, but I am realizing that I would really like broaden my horizons in that particular genre. 90+% of the bands I listen to are either American or European... Last year at M'era Luna in Germany I heard Dir En Grey, a Japanese band for the first time and loved them, but other than that I'm not sure were to look. A quick youtube search for Korean rock didn't yield anything worthwhile, so what are some MRers suggestions?
