So I recently purchased a new Macbook Air and a 2 TB WD My book as an external HD. I want to connect it to my wireless network so I purchased a Netgear N600 not knowing that it only supports NTFS and FAT 32 HD's. Are there any other HD's that you guys recommend which would support OS-X Ext. Journaled besides the AEBS? If not then I guess I will pony up more money to Apple lol.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

The new Linksys E4200 supports HFS+ on connected drives, but it costs as much as an AEBS, and unless you need 3 stream wireless, you may as well go with the AEBS.

Also, the AEBS is the only router I know of that can wake a Mac on LAN or wirelessly, if you need that.

There are ways to make other routers support HFS+, using open source firmware. Google is your friend!
