I just downloaded NetNewsWire which is exactly what I wanted but it's just too buggy.

Can anyone recommend a good reader that will sync with Google?

Thanks

If you think NNW is buggy, I think Gruml is quickly going to annoy you.

I really, really like Gruml in many ways. But it hangs and crashes far too often - like once a day on average when I was using it. After about two months with it, I finally uninstalled. It's still a beta, so I'm holding out hope that it will improve on that front by the time it's out of beta.

Then I tried Vienna, which I liked but does not sync with Google Reader. That only lasted a couple days. That turned out to be an ever bigger dealbreaker than I expected, so I moved on.

I've been back with NNW for about a month now and it's working well for me. I actually haven't had a single issue with it - not one crash.

So, for now, I'm sticking with NNW and hoping that Gruml will solve the crashing/hanging problem soon.

I agree with juliainor. I gave Gruml a try a while back just to see if it was better than NNW. It wasn't. NNW is the best one I've found so far.

times, but it is different from most rss readers (maybe a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are:D). i use vienna!

Been using Gruml continuously since my last post and haven't had one crash - works flawlessly and syncs perfectly with Google.

For me, NNW was not only buggy (e.g. crashes, sync conflicts with Google), it had major limitations such as only displaying the 20 most recent posts, and clicking on a folder only displays unread posts.

Guess it's depends how you use it but Gruml is perfect for me (thanks again Weaselboy!)
