Best 'Small' HDTV For Xbox 360

Hi All,

I'm calling out to fellow MR members to recommend a HDTV for me for the Xbox 360. We're all technically minded and discerning technology enthusiasts here, so I would appreciate your opinions!

The maximum I have to spend is £400 and would like a TV greater in size than 19 inches (I think 19 is too small for console gaming)

HDMI would be nice, but isn't a deal breaker. It doesn't matter if the speakers are rubbish because I have an external speaker system that I'm going to connect to the xbox via optical.

Basically, what is the best TV I could get for console gaming for the money? I've read the specs for thousands of TVs, but actual first hand experience is still the thing to listen to, IMO so I'm eager to get your opinions.

I would go with the Sharp Aquos series. Get the largest display you can afford (possibly the 26 inch).

This really is the best LCD out there, and, from personal experience, it works incredibly well with the 360. Halo 3 looks incredible using HDMI; the colours are truly spectacular.

I second the Aquos recommendation. They really are quite outstanding.

Thanks for the tips guys, but I really don't think I can afford an Aquos at the moment, unless you can find me one for £400
