Best software for live broadcasting your desktop?

I need to know which is the best program for broadcasting AVI's live on sites like JTV. CamTwist causes my MBP to crash if I run it for an extended period of time. I really need some suggestions.

Currently Im using VLC to play the AVI's then capturing the screen with CamTwist and Broadcasting with Flash Media Encoder. This method would work for me if i didn't get Kernel Panic almost every time I cast.

Please help.
