i just bought my first mac on sunday so im still trying to figure out what works best with mac. i tried toast platinum and the audio was totally out of sync with the dvd after i burned it and im not sure if i did something wrong or it was the toast. any suggestions would be awesome

Well I am going to assume you meant Toast Titanium (rather than Platinum), but I will ask which version you purchased? The current version is 10. I've been using it since about Toast 5 and since I started doing DVDs composed of .avis I have not had difficulties using the "Video DVD" selection.

Because of the many other project types it will do, I still prefer it over other competing applications for Macs.

yes it its toast titanium not platinum i apologize. and it is also the current version. i used the converting section to turn my avi file into a digital video file then i burned it to a DVD and it looked fine but the audio was just totally off id say by a good minute or so
