Now that it's 2012, I want to find the most recent / best / relevant information I can.

I will be purchasing a brand new 13" Macbook Pro (yes I know there may be refreshes - I don't care).

I MUST have 2 external displays. I am looking at 22" or 24" monitors (I will be buying 2 of the same monitor at the same time, but haven't decided on which brand/make to purchase yet)

Is the Matrox Dualhead2go the best choice now for performance and quality? Money isn't really an issue, but don't want to spend more than needed.

I would appreciate any input, thank you.

are you sure the integrated GPU and handle output to two monitors (three if MBP is open)? i just asked because when i hooked up my monitor to my MBP (15"), the monitor would shut off if i switched to the integrated GPU.

That's because the Intel 3000HD isn't connected in any way shape or form to the thunderbolt port on the 15" and 17" models, and has nothing to do with the Intel card's capabilities.
