Hello All,
I have been an OSX user for several years now but have never dealt with using multiple accounts on the one computer. I am now sharing the laptop and was hoping for a way to share iTunes and iPhoto libraries between both users on the Macbook.
I was thinking that if I was to make a 250gb partition on the laptop storage and store the libraries here that it would work, but is there any action that needs to be taken so that both users can access them even with fast user switching. Also is there a higher risk of corruption or issues occuring if I do it this way?
I want to avoid using external storage as both of us will be using the Macbook in several locations and it isn't covenient to carry an external drive with us at all times.
Will this solution work or are there any better solutions to this problem? If it matters I am using Snow Leopard currently.
Thanks in advance,
