best solution for wireless view of internet on tv

I have a new 27" standard iMac. I am looking to get rid of my cable tv and use only the internet (cnn.com, netflix, hulu...) for my tv. I have a linksys g router but plan on upgrading pending the requirements. I don't know much about the apple wifi hardware capabilities but I think the airport express might do what I want but I don't know.
please help.

You should just get a router that does 802.11N that would be fast enough for wireless video streaming. There is no need to spend a lot of money on an Apple router.
