After a month of research on this site and others, I'm still undecided on what to buy...

I want to spend no more than $150, so I think most of the Bose stuff is out of the question.

I want the best possible home audio sound quality for this price. I'm not looking for a bedside alarm clock. I want the deepest possible sound to fill my living room or backyard for parties, etc.

Being able to plug a laptop into the setup is a huge plus.

I've been looking for a dock, but am willing to buy stereo components in this price range, if anyone has any good suggestions based on their own setup.

All I have right now is my 3G and a pair of headphones. Thanks for your help.

*** I don't get it haha, why is my question like the only one without a bunch of answers? Am I doing something wrong, or is it unrealistic to assume I could get good sound for $150?
