Best SSD for Upgrading?

Can anyone tell me the best brand/source for a 256gb SSD for my mid 2012 13" MBA? Any brands to avoid? Is a used OEM worth looking at?
 
I registered so I could post. No OWC's - I bought one off Amazon (wanted it fast) and it failed at 32 days. Fortunately Amazon accepted the return. It ran super-hot.

I replaced it with this: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB M.2 3.5-Inch SSD (MZ-N5E500BW), using this adaptor: Sintech M.2(NGFF) adapter as SSD for 2012 MACBOOK Air MD224 MD223 MD231 MD232

Works great. I got the SSD from Amazon and the adaptor off eBay, but the adaptors are available on Amazon, too, I just didn't happen to check.

Thanks for the info. Do you mind telling me the speed of the ssd using the Blackmagicdesign app?
 
Samsung mz-epc2560/0a2 is the best for this model, do not buy SSD designed for PC
