I am on the lookout for a good but not too expensive surge protector with as many outlets as possible, & the outlets spaced far enough apart to use power block plugs, I find they block whole outlets & I lose outlet space this way. I will probably have a scanner, printer, usb hub expander & some external hard drives plugged into the strip as well as my macbook pro.
I noticed that most power strips & surge protectors have 3 prongs, I am in an older home (1950's) with wall outlets with only 2 prong holes, what type of power solution would work best in my situation? I also read that one should not daisy chain surge protectors, so I need something with a long power cord to reach the few outlets in my home.
