Hi all,

As the title says i want a way of storing my iTunes library on some sort of external hard drive / NAS Box / Time machine that is backed up so i don't risk loosing any of my media.

Requirements:
  • External HDD / NAS Box / Time machine any other suggestions
  • Stream content to apple tv, PS3 and possibly iPad? (iPad not important).
  • Stream music and videos.
  • Library is currently about 30GB Music and 150 GB Films but is growing as i am putting my films into iTunes.
  • Not too too much cost wise but open if it will work.
  • Just works!!!!!

I currently have a ReadyNAS Duo with two 2TB hard drives in RAID 0. But it is constantly dropping connection to iMac, apple tv and ps3. And since installing Lion it has stopped all together.

Any tips would be great thanks.

I bought a Mac Mini (regular, not the server) and connected my NAS to it for more storage. So, I've got a fully capable system that works flawlessly.
