I'm going to buy a custom colored Timbuk2 messenger bag soon and I can't think of a good color combination that would look well. Can anyone help me out here?

I was thinking white on both sides and like a lime green in the middle. Keep in mind that I am a guy. No light blue, pink, purple colors unless they look well in a combo. And white is better than black for me. Here's a screenshot of the colors:

Feel free to post your own bags as well! Thanks, lu0s3r322.

EDIT: Also, what's the smallest size I can get my MBP to fit in? I know medium fits but I'm trying to get as small as possible. For all the messenger bag type models, does small work for MBPs?

Looks like they got new colors since my last bag...

Here's two that I thought looked cool:

Burgundy - White - Navy Picture 1.png

or Silver - White - Charteuse Picture 2.png

Being a Denver Bronco's fan I like the navy/orange/navy combo. I don't know if getting white is a good idea since it could show dirt, stains etc. Although that is dependent on the material if it attracts dirt or if it is easy to wash.

not to hijack the thread but what is so great about these bags, i hear everyone talking about them on this site, i mean they do look really nice and all, but are they sturdy, have a guarantee or something like that? whats the gimmick?
i might want to pick one up though, i am going to chicago next week and i need a sturdy bag.

They're well made, reasonably priced, no-nonsense bags. That's about it really.

I have one in lt. grey/slate blue/lt. grey and its a nice subdued color combo. I also have an all black one that I bought off the shelf, but its pretty boring.

I really like the first picture posted. I may have to get that one for my brother's birthday!

Green and white sounds like a good combo to me. My only concern would be if the white would show dirt too quickly. You might want to consider the light or dark gray. I think they would look great with lime green. :)

I've got a dark grey/silver/light green Timbuk2 that I really like. It's held up well all through school, and afterwards traveling around. The quality of workmanship is great, and the fabric looks almost as good as the day I got it (4+ years ago, now).

I had a former bf buy one and he got navy blue/chartreuse/olive at my suggestion, and it looked great! It matched his style and wardrobe. He still uses it. They're just high-quality, heavy-duty bags, and it's nice to get them custom. Lots of little niceties within them. Only thing I don't like is the Velcro, but I think you can get it without the noisy Velcro.

Myself, I'd get silver/black/silver, probably.
