Iv'e want to get the 4th gen [when comes out] i wont wait no longer than new years, so black friday or after christmas sale or any other

thx

You can buy it right away. It's not like Apple does a lot of sales... It'll be the same price on launch day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years.

You could wait until they show up in the refurb store (2 or 3 months after launch) and save 10 to 20%.

On Black Friday, Apple usually has a promo going on. Its been in the 5 to 10% range. That being said, if you are interested in the higher capacity, more expensive models, you might just want to buy the iPod directly from Walmart or another retailer. Walmart usually has the highest end iPod Touch discounted about 10%.

For example, here is the 64GB touch that Apple sells for 399 - Walmart is selling it for 346:

That's true. I forgot about Apple's day after Thanksgiving sales. Overall though Apple is not the company to be trying to get deals from. Their sales/promotions are very rare. You're going to be paying full price 95% of the time.

Probably.

You probably should just pre-order it or something. Theres not going to be any big sales, maybe a few bucks, they dont need discounts to help improve sales. :p
