Hello there,

Currently I am using a late 2006 MBP with a C2D 2.16, 500GB HD and 3GB RAM.
It's been used mostly at home with external mouse/keyboard and I never had ANY problems with it.
Now the second battery starts to act weird and it'd be time to replace it.
When I work with Aperture things could be a little faster but other than that I am still happy with my MBP.
One part of me says to keep it till its broken. Actually I try to keep and use stuff for a long time and not to buy everything just because it's nice and I'd like it / the marketing dept. wants me to buy it.

OTOH, those i5 MBPs (faster, better display, unibody, etc.) sure are tempting, probably even more so after the long anticipated spring-update.
Now I checked on ebay and was surprised to see that I could still get around 600 Euros for my MBP.
It's clear that the more I wait the less I'll be able to sell it for.
So I'm thinking about when'd be the best time to sell my MBP and get a new one in terms of resale value and performance improvement
It'd be interesting to put this on a chart.

So what's my point exactly? Well I don't know, I guess it's up to me really.
I guess I'll wait after the announcement and then think about it again.
