sizing paper is a 6 for me, 6 for solo loop

Would you all go a 6 or a 5 (heard it stretches over time) with that being the case?

Looking for veteran braided loop insight, I have never had one.

I wear the same size (size 6) in both loops. I found the sizing paper is accurate if you pull it tight to the point where it feels like it's going to rip. I've had the dark cherry braided solo loop since November and it shows no signs of stretching with fairly frequent wear.

im assuming depends on quality control and how much people are stretching the band taking it off and on

It’s very dependent on where people wear their watches and size of their wrists. Best bet is to either go to a store or order a few different sizes then mail the others back. If it’s too tight the braids will leave marks on your wrist, too loose and the sensors will be inaccurate if you use them. The braided looks the coolest but kind of a PITA.

I used the measuring tape method, wrapped right, and plugged in the EXACT, didn’t round at all, number into their size guide. Went with their recommended size and didn’t size down as I remember someone on the Reddit forums saying Apple updated their sizing calculator to be more accurate now for the braided loops. Mine sits perfect, snug but not too tight.

Sizing paper says my size is 7. I use 7 for my regular solo loops but size 6 for braided solos. Just fits/feels better that way for me.

I would imagine so. I do try to take care when putting it on or taking it off.
Yup. Try not to overstretch it when removing the band, I tend to try to slide the band off the wrist -versus- pull it off. Also, if the band gets wet and it stretches continuously off the wrist, it has that ‘rubber band’ effect where it will never really go back to being normal the way it was from the factory.

This is the unfortunate side to these types of bands, that they’re comfortable and reliable, but overtime, it starts to loosen depending on how often you remove it and how hard you stretch it.
