Best tool for 3.1.3 JB? (Old Bootrom)

Hey guys. I know I have had this answered, but considering my phone was just replaced by apple, with no SHSH's stored, I only have 1 chance at jailbreaking 3.1.3.

I've been told spirit is the best choice, is this true? If so, anything I should know before doing it? Really don't want to mess up and have to upgrade to stock 4.0.1.

No, it's not the best choice, it's the only choice. And it's too late to store your SHSH's for 3.1.3 now so if anything goes wrong you'll be stuck with 4.0.1.

I know it's too late. That's why I was saying I was looking for the best tool to make sure nothing goes wrong.
