Best torrent client?

Hi,
I currently using uTorrent and I think it's not as good as it use to bee anymore.
So my question is, which torrent client do you think is the best one?

The stuff that I need is:
*RSS feed / reader in it.

uTorrent seems fine for me except for the advertising.

Which version do you run?
It goes down to sleep mode for me, aldo it do download things.

I have Mavericks and the latest version of uTorrent.

The "Prevent standby if there are active torrents" option doesn't work?

3.3.2 is the Windows version. 1.8.4 is the latest for Mac

In addition to the above, I think Transmission is a good lightweight client.

I use Transmission v2.11 which was the last version that allowed use of a proxy.

Transmission. It is very good. Its's one of those apps that is missing on Windows.

The user interface is neat and tidy. I'd use this over uTorrent anyday

In pretty much every thread I've seen on this question over the past 5+ years, the overwhelming majority appear to choose Transmission.
