Hi all
A key use case for me is to navigate to a specific address from my current location with turn-by-turn navigation, while on my bike.

The Apple Maps experience is OK but does not show a map and turn-by-turn on the same screen. But what's worse, Apple Maps does not support cycling directions in my area hence useless for me.

Google Maps supports cycling in my area and kind of works (odd I have to manually launch the app on the apple watch to see the navigation, it doesn't just pop up) however, doesn't show the map.

I use WorkOutDoors for my fitness app which is great, however, turn-by-turn navigation to an address is not a functionality planned

Are there any other apps to try which would be better? I don't mind using other map sources eg openstreetmap data etc - just want to see the Map on most of the screen, direction to turn, distance to next turn, arrival ETA.

Thanks in advance

Thank you- just downloaded and tried the app, unfortunately no Apple Watch app.

Any other suggestions?
Have a look at Outdoor active. I've used it mainly for following walk\rides that others have done and put in there and it has an Apple Watch app that has a few screens. The watch app can show a map with the route on or an arrow pointing the way you should be heading which whilst the phone has a map with directions, distances, average speeds etc and also speaks the directions to you.

You can search for an address and when found ask it to navigate with options for walking, biking etc but it also has sub categories for them so under bike you can have a general biking but also road, mountain bike etc.

However i wonder if a better option is rather than relying on a watch app that you have to glance at the small screen is to get a phone mount for your handlebars to have the phone as a sat nav screen directly in front of you. I've been looking at getting one for commuting to work etc.
