I've been in search of the best twitter app.. And i've actually spent alot of money over the past couple of months.. Usually once i leave an app i delete it and not aware of the new updates.

I have
  • Echofon Pro
  • Twittrlator Pro
  • Tweetlogix
  • UberSocial
  • Twitbird Premium
  • Twitterific
  • Hootsuite
Thats all i can remember off the top of my head..

I like echofon how u can start typing a persons username it brings up a list so you can select it..

I like Twitterlator(however you spell it) but i dont like how when you trying to view other peoples conversation how you have to keep going back and forth between the peoples timeline to read.. Thats Very annoying

Ubersocial just sucks and plus twitter blocked it..

Hootsuite sucks

I like Twitterific but they dont even give you an option to bring up a list of usernames to add to it.. you have to completly remember the entire username.. Also you cant geotage tweets..
Their was something about echofon pro that made me stop using it, but cant remember it off the top of my head..

All im asking for is an app that does conversation threading between other people as well as with yourself.. and geotag tweets (automatically).. Also a good design.. But twitterlator is designed horribly and i used it for a while..

What apps do you u all use... or what app gives me all that im asking for.. which really isnt much.. I dont need an app that has push notifications.. I use boxcar so no big deal..

I've actually never used the official twitter app.. I just assumed that it was sufficient enough for me lol..

I use Osfoora. Have to say, I have tried many of the twitter apps, this one has been my primary for months now though

I use to use the Twitter for iPhone app till a couple of months ago when it stopped working completely. I just can't seem to get it to connect. I've deleted and reinstalled too and it still doesn't connect.

I've used Twitter app & now recently started using Echofon. The only did i don't like is that is ad-based (the free version).

Biggest gripe from me regarding the official Twitter app is that you can't "really" retweet. It has the Quote Tweet feature, which is a PITA.

I have also spent a good deal of money on Twitter apps myself. Pretty much any Twitter app that has been released on the iPhone, I have probably had on my phone at one point.

With that said, I am currently using Tweetlist. This app by far has been my favorite Twitter app that I have used thus far. And I have used Echofon Pro, Osfoora, Tweetings, Official Twitter app, Icebird, Ubertwitter, Twitterific, etc.

The developers are very open to suggestions if you follow them on Twitter. Plus, it has one of the better UI's that I have experienced in a Twitter app. In addition, it is a feature rich app, complete with a light and dark theme depending on your taste. I'm sure other MR members will chime about this app, but it's easily well worth the $2.99 price tag.

i use the official Twitter app. The only thing which sucks about it. Is that when replying ot mentioning a twitter user it doesnt have your whole following list in the menu. So you have to either remember, guess or google before you want to tweet something to that user.
