Best UK Provider/Tariff for iPhone

What do people recommend for a tariff and provider for the iPhone in the UK.
Im looking for something that is PAYG with free texts and a cheap/free EDGE data plan.

With a bit of luck you might find one with an iPhone thrown in for free...

Anything less than £40/month with a decent data allowance (unlimited would be best obv) and i'l be happy.

..and I hope is 12 or 18 month contract, i don't like the idea of 24 month.
