Hello!
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forums, but I remember that you guys have helped me a lot with various things, so here I am again
I'm currently planning to buy low-tier NAS (Synology DS115j) to be able to free my macbook pro disk space (256 GB's isn't enough...).
I also have PS4 in my room that plays videos from my DLNA server on MacBook just fine.
After buying NAS server I'd like to delete DLNA server from my MacBook and move everything to NAS server. Currently PS4 is playing my videos, but what should I do when I will must sell it in the future for example?
What DLNA players are good for connecting to TV that isn't "smart"?
I don't know if you guys understand me, I know that there's Apple TV or Chromecast, but I'm looking for device that can play videos DIRECTLY from my LAN media server, without using any apps on my iPhone (that is needed for Chromecast, and for Apple TV too I heard).
Also - sorry for my english as always - it isn't my native language!
