What’s the best USB-C hub for a MacBook Pro. I want something small and portable and has pass through charging as well.

Not bothered on Ethernet port, so just a USB-A, maybe SD slot (although have a USB-A adapter already), a video out for TV connection.

I was going to get Apple multi adapter one, as seems to have everything really, so is this best?

Thanks

I have the HengeDock Stone. I like it.

I was hoping for portable/small. These both seem large and probably overkill for what I would need.

The Anker 7 in 1 is small, light and works great. Anker is a trusted brand, that is also sold in Apple stores. Not to mention, it’s about 50% the cost of Hyperdrive and Satechi, all of which I evaluated, and ultimately chose the Anker. It has 60w pass through and is one of very few with a second USB-C port.

Thanks Anker are good stuff have a few bits of theirs.

Looking they have quite a few different types, like 4/5/7 in 1.

However, thinking of the future, it’s lists, on Amazon, “not compatible with iPad Pro 2018”. There’s are USB-C so although I don’t have a USB-C iPad at moment, maybe in future. Wonder why they aren’t compatible

I have the 4-1 Anker, and based on that one, the Anker hub pulls/provides 15w. iPad Pro comes with an 18w charger, so wild guess, iPad will use all 15w or won't charge due to no juice (assuming other USB devices plugged in).

Is it hot when connected?
