I’m planning to get this hub , I like that it has a powered supply
I only need it for mouse & keyboard , both usb c , and a 1TB sata ssd portable drive for Time Machine, enclosure is usb c , these are things that are going to stay plugged it permanently, I need the other 2 usb c ports on the back of the m4 for external storage
The 2 ports in the front I will use only for sd cards /flashdrives whenever I need to quickly connect

thanks, i ordered this for an SD card to USB adapter I had, plus like 10 USB-A flash drives i still have lying around

Better yet, get three...

Possible warning:
Don't get the "tiny" ones (that don't have a short cable).
They are "large enough" so that they may obstruct adjacent USBc ports when you have them plugged in...
