I use iTunes for my backups on iOS. I have never used the cloud (prefer not to use hosted anything sans find my iPhone/iPad). I bought a 3.1 USBc to USBa cheap cable from Fry’s to restore the new iPad. I’ve seen some comments on cables mentioned but not a dedicated thread. This is strictly for wired backups to a USBa port on iTunes. The cable I bought from Fry’s was very short and wasn’t braided so looking for suggestions members have verified that work excellently.

For power, I’m using this, as Apple’s supplied cable is way too short. I can verify, for power, this works excellently. And I found it on this forum.

I was also annoyed with how short the standard Apple cable was. The one you posted looks good because it has that oh-so-important PD smart chip built in.
Other cables that are great, and provide the same quality in manufacturing: Belkin or Anker. I have the 6’ Belkin USB-C to A cable, and the Anker 6’ USB-C cable. The former I will use for air travel because most planes only have a USB port and the extra length is really convenient. (I realize there is a power outlet, but just using the one cable is less of a hassle).
