hiya guys I was wondering what the fastest, bestestest usb cable out there is.:D
going into detail just best overall (speed, appearance, compact...ness...)
heck it could even be gold plated!

You want Monster's Hypercable Diamond Platinum Edition

It uses their unique optical translation system to turn any regular USB connection into an Fiber-optic cable, it works by using precisely machined diamonds in the apature to convert the electron pulses into laser light which is sent along millions of nano-scale swarovski crystals, the entire cable is wrapped in a special synthetic rubber formed from using gold dust and platinum for ultimate connectivity.

I actually bought Monster USB Cables on a Woot special for about $2.00 each.
Ended up with 12 cables for $6.00 + shipping.

Great packaging that took 20 minutes to open and they have this annoying pulsing flashing blue-light on the connectors to advise you that they are working.:eek:

A little duct tape solved that annoyance!

I would never buy such overpriced hokey marketing garbage again!

Even on a Woot special :p

Really? Don't think we have those in the US. Swarovski crystals must make those cables really move!

A USB cable is a USB cable. If you want to go spend $20 for a name then go ahead, but you won't notice any speed increase, because there won't be one. As to speeding up your USB peripherals, you can't. If you want USB 3.0, you'll have to wait until computer makers begin to include USB 3.0 on their computers. The cables will be the same, and will have no effect on your transfer speeds. My suggestion id go get the cheapest one you can find.

I have never noticed any major difference between any of the cables including the gold plated ones. Just don't spend 99 cents for one. LOL.
