Hi Guys,

Not sure if this question is okay or not. If not, I apologize.

Does anyone have any feedback on which of the used Mac dealers have the best track records and/or reputations?

Sounds like a fair question to me, but I personally wouldn't buy used. I'd buy from the Apple Refurb store however, because you know what you're getting.

If you're going fully 'used', might as well hit up Craig's List and just be smart about the condition of the laptop and what to look for.

If you're just looking for discounted previously owned but in as legit condition as possible, Apple refurbished.

Microcenter has used systems that they claim is thoroughly checked. You might even get a VERY limited warranty from them. Of course, you are also going to pay $100-$200 more than the machine would go for elsewhere.

Recently, I was comparing those to craigslist. Only problems is that selection at my local microcenter was almost nil, compared to the mailed flier I received from microcenter.
