Hey guys, I have the stock ATI Radeon HD 2600 in my Mac Pro. Transformations and zooming is really jerky since switching to Photoshop CS5 from CS4. Is there anything I can do to make it run more smoothly?
I have a 2x2.8 GHz Quad-Core Xeon with 14 GB of DDR2 FB-DIMM's.
Thanks in advance,
-Clank.

After several tests, apparently OpenGL drawing uses a lot of GPU memory. I changed the OpenGL Drawing settings in the Performance settings (under preferences) from "Normal" to "Basic", then restarted Photoshop. Now it's like butter. So I guess your results depend on the cards memory.
