Best VNC option for a 27" iMac to MBA?

So I'm trying out "Screen Sharing" on my MBA to view my 27 iMac and while it works, the resolution is tiny.

I use Parallels Access on my iPad Mini and it automatically downsizes the resolution to the smaller screen. Yes, it just works to still a phrase from Apple.

So I guess my question is, is there a VNC app or something that will AUTOMATICALLY adjust the resolution to the best fit size of a smaller screen?
