I have to admit that languages are not my long suit. Is there a translator for the iPhone 5 where I can ask a question, speak a word into the phone and it translates it into a language I have selected?
As an example:
I am in Iceland and need to find a guide to the hot springs
I am in Portugal and need to find the best place to buy Port
I am in France and need a restaurant that serves terrific local food
You get the idea...
Thanks
Ron

iTranslate is very good. You can type or speak in Englsih and it will translate it to numerous different languages. You will need a data connection, i.e cellular or WiFi for it to work.

If you're looking for free Google Translate is the way to go if not languages is awesome and you don't have to have an internet connection for it to work.
