I have finally dealt with the anxiety that comes after you spill a little water on any of your Apple devices and this friends told me I could get cases for them that protect them from water? Is this true? If so, which are the best ones?

I have an iPhone 5, iPad 2 and an iTouch as well. :)

Have you looked into Life Proof cases yet?

It looks like they hold up pretty well against water damage, and drops in general:

I was about to suggest life proof cases as well. My friends swear by them and I will get one for my next iPhone.

It's water proof but the screen is bare so no bubbles, distortion or rainbow effect. It comes with a test plate for water testing prior to use, so don't worry about finding out the hard way.

After playing with my ipad4 with the life proof; It is a little on the heavy side but lighter than the otter box. Everything is beveled so it gives you a great grip no matter what side/edge you have. I would defiantly recommend it with the cover/stand. As it props up the iPad perfectly both landscape and portrait.
