Hey everyone: I just got the new 2nd gen Airport Express base station.
What's the best way to set it up to work with my current Netgear WNDR3800 802.11n network router? I currently have a 2.4Ghz SSID called TWOFOUR and a 5Ghz SSID called FIVE, both working simultaneously.
I'd like to utilize the simultaneous dual-band Airport Express so that my 2.4Ghz iPhone and 5Ghz Mac can AirPlay to the speakers I have connected to the Airport Express.
What do I need to do to accomplish this?
And, should I connect the AE wirelessly or plug into the Netgear router via the LAN port?
Thanks so much for any advice!
Tim
[PS: Currently, I have the AE joining to my net wirelessly (without Ethernet) and it only allows me to AirPlay from the iPhone 2.4Ghz, AirPlay doesn't work from my 5Ghz Mac.]
