Best way to block calls and sms on att iphone

I would like to block a number from calling or txting me. I am not sure what is the best way any help would be great thank you.

No way to do it through the phone that I know of, but you should be able to call AT&T to get them to block them.

If you jailbreak your phone there is an application called iBlacklist available through Cydia. It allows you to block numbers and a variety of other features.
