Hello, I have a 15" PB w/combo drive and my roomate has 15" PB w/Superdrive... I have some DVD's I want to burn. Instead of copying the files to his Powerbook and installing toast on his Powerbook, is there a way I could get his Superdrive to show up on my computer??

Thank You!

even if you could, the files would still have to be copied across to be burned and you'd be asking for trouble with the burning outpacing the speed the data could get across the network. it'd be much more straightforward to just copy the (dvd) disk images across and he can just use disk utility to burn them if he doesn't want to install Toast.

Your right. It's simpler than I was making it. Thanks!
