Hello,

I will buy my first ever apple device ( 13 mini ) within few weeks. Just waiting to see in my country the price of it will drop after 7th Sept. Anyway.. I read a lot of topics, but could not get the answer I am looking for. What will be the best way to charger the device? As I see, when I buy the phone, it comes with 20W charger(I think this is what the reseler adds to the package). I read that this is not good for the battery. I am wondering should I but magsafe and use it? Or maybe 5W adapter?

I guess it depends on how much you use your iPhone, so how often you will need to charge it. If you can last a day on a single charge, you could then charge it overnight, either with a 5W or 20W charger. I believe that the lower powered chargers are better for the battery, as they heat it up less, but I might be wrong. I would avoid wireless charging altogether, as it overheats the iPhone and takes longer.

I use my phone right now with around 2 till max 3.3 hours screen time per day.

You probably didn’t find an answer because the question is not a legitimate concern. Use whatever charger you want and let the phone do it’s thing.

I wouldn't use a more powerful charger than Apple recommends.
I use their 20W charger, plug in the phone when I get up in the AM, disconnect as it approaches 100% charge (from an average of around 50-60%).
Takes approx 2-3 hours.
Battery health @ 100% after 9 months use.
If it hits 100%, I don't sweat it.
I'd be curious to know how long the charging time would be with a 5W charger instead.

I’ve had my 13 mini since Oct 2021. Charge every night with the same 5w brick I’ve used since my iPhone 5s. (I do turn on batt optimization). Batt health shows 99%

Have my 13 mini since launch day and I charge every night using MagSafe and it just dropped to 99% last week. I have optimized charging turned on and I see it working most of the time.
