Works like a charm. You can scrub it without worrying about getting bits of paper towel or dust in it. The thing actually feels brand new after you give it a good rub down with your towel after a nice hot shower.

Random, I know, but you guys should try it. Of course use the damper parts of the towel ;)

No.

Read why their stuff is best IMO. (cheap too and they sell the kits at the apple stores (brick and mortar too)

The OP's way is free.

+1

no need to buy some products to clean an iphone....the phone isn't fragile, it's a sturdy piece of equipment. the damp towel works great with ZERO risk of damaging the phone. i've used this process on all my phones since the invention of cell phones. not onces has this process damaged a phone.

don't buy products to clean it.....use the dang towel for free.

the OP's way can scratch his glass if he uses the wrong towel, can leave lint if he uses the wrong towe. And the klearscreen is $20 for a couple of years supply.

How free is it if a scratch shows up because one used an old towel?

Ok, if you have a bath towel that can scratch glass, you have bigger problems.

Can we dampen a towel-like cloth and just use that? Or does it have to be post-shower with a full sized towel?

No, you MUST shower yourself in order to clean the phone. This is due to its advanced empathy chip. If you do not wash yourself at the same time as the phone, it begins to feel badly for you and stops accepting calls.

Ewww. You wipe your phone and then put it up to your face with a towel that dried your ass with.

Sounds good to Towlie.

You beat me too it. :p

Truthfully, damp towel works just fine. Scratch the iphone with a towel? Only if you have sand on the towel or the phone. Or you're using super-human retard strength while wiping it.

Side note - great way to clean your glasses - just put them under hot water (this removes most of the facial grease/oils and heavy particulates) and if you have a brita filter - give it a short rinse so no residue remains. Shake off, and the warmth still in the lens will dry it quickly. No contact - less risk of damage - especially if you have coated lenses.
