Waiting on my 8 core gpu/cpu M1 iMac.
I have an LG 27UK850 monitor that is connected to my M1 MacBook Air via the USB C port on the monitor. Connected this way it charges my MacBook Air. This has me concerned. I won’t need the charging when connected to my iMac. Are these monitors auto sensing? Will it try to supply power to my M1 iMac or should I use a different way of connecting to the iMac? Display port cable to thunderbolt? I don’t wanna fry my new iMac but I can’t seem to find the correct answer.
