No, I'm not doing anything illegal (I think). I teach English in a German school and a teacher asked me to help copy a DVD, but without subtitles. It's a British film and you can only watch it dubbed in German without subtitles or original English but WITH German subtitles, which is really annoying!

So I opened up Handbrake and not knowing what I was doing, I just selected the tv settings from the preset menu and extracted the DVD, without substitles yay.

I can't seem to tell, but I don't think I have chapters in the MKV file and it seems to be like a weird stream cause I can't jump ahead to the middle or end of the film.

Chapters are important because the students watch the film during class over a period of 2-3 days.

So:
1. How do I tell if the MKV file has chapters?
2. How do I burn this onto a DVD?
