Best way to downgrade to the iPhone 6

I have the 6 plus. I love it but it isn't practical for how active I am. It is way past the return/exchange period.


What would be the best/easiest way to downgrade to the 6?

Can't return it. Sell it on eBay. I hear you about the 6 plus. I returned mine right after I got it. Too big for real life but nice on the couch

So I have seen CL listings for "exchanges" but I would personally stay away from those. Sell the 6+ and get the 6. This might be the cleanest way to do it.

I am a big fan of craigslist. Show lots of pictures. Show the box and accessories. Tell them you will only meet at a carrier store (safe place to meet and it keeps the shady folks from even replying, mostly).

I have never tried swappa, but I hear good things about that too. Lately I would just as much rather not deal with paypal at all though.

Swappa has a fairly decent community and staff, and they only charge a flat $10 fee for their services (excluding PayPal fees of course).

I've had nothing but positive experiences on Craigslist as well. Try to negotiate the final price or trade before meeting up, as some people will try to stiff you and ultimately waste your time. If you're selling the phone, keep it on your terms (you designate the location and time) and ALWAYS meet up in a well-lit, public area. I personally like to meet at Starbucks, as it has seating for the buyer to inspect and test the device.

Oh, and bring a SIM ejection tool. I made the mistake of selling my iPhone 4 to a person who scratched up the bezel by trying to use a staple to remove the SIM tray. Ugh.

Swappa or craigslist is good. I would only sell it for cash on Craigslist and then buy the phone from a store. Exchanging on Craigslist is risky. There is only so much you can check out on a phone in a short period of time.

You can sell a phone that is on contract just fine with most carriers (I've read sprint can be problematic).

Had 64gb 6 space grey AT&T
And got space grey 64gb 6 plus
