Best Way to Download a YouTube video?

What's the best and easiest way to download a Youtube video
on a Mac ? I'd like to find a good app that can do this...
not one that has adware built in to it.

If you install the Click-to-Flash or Click-to-Plugin extension, they both offer a right-click option to download the video while you're viewing it. It is a very seamless mp4 download. Set your playback resolution (360, 720, etc) before you download.

ClipGrab and KeepVid are well known and I think, ClipGrab is quite good (simple, effective, no adds, regularly updated).

But I guess you look for the eierlegende Wollmichsau.

I use Savefrom.net (helper). Seems to work fine. Are all these the same? Or are there differences I should be aware of?

I use and swear by Good Old Youtube Downloader plugin for Firefox. Nothing simpler out there.

If you use FireFox as your browser there are a few plugins that do a good job downloading YouTube videos.
