What is the best way to get 110,000 photos into my 1TB iPhone?
(To include pics that family, friends, and work colleagues took on an Apple QuickTake 100 as far back 1994!)

Use Case:
Love the memories feature of iCloud photos. Pics of great times with family and friends. It sends me to my happy place. In past year, l lost 4 family + 1 dear friend was killed while helping a family in a car that went off the road.

I use Photos 365 app when I want to find a photo taken on a specific year / day. I can do that so much faster with that app than with Apple's Photos app.

File types & size:
On the 512 GB iPhone I had what's shown below. Those are currently downloading to a 1TB iPhone.

Most pics are JPGs or PNGs, probably from Canon PowerShots. I have already copied them from my old Thinkpad X1 to a MacBook Pro. But the 110,000+ are not currently part of my MacOS iCloud Photo Library like those in 103,000+ in the screen shot from my 512 GB iPhone.

MacBook Pro "Get Info" for the top level directory of pics that I want to move shows
"(222.46 GB on disk) for 108,946 items"
+ a couple other random directories of pics will push it to 110,000.

Now moving over from iPhone 12 Pro Max 512 GB to iPhone 13 Pro Max 1 TB

do you have a Mac? Also, I wouldn’t use the above instructions as you already have an iCloud library. Making a separate one will not allow the 2 libraries to sync. Instead, I would make a backup just in case something goes wrong.

Yes. MacBook Pro 2019 4 TB.

OK.
I would make a backup of your iCloud library.. then slowly start importing photos into your current library. I wouldn’t do them all at one time.. do maybe a year or two at a time on your Mac.. See if you like how it’s going..Also, doing it this way. You can notice if date’s are importing correctly.

on your phone, I would do optimize storage. This way you can see how things are importing and if you like the organization that it’s doing with the new photos. And once you got everything in the cloud like you like, I would do turn on store originals

I don’t have a solution for you but I just came here to say that those are rookie numbers. I have 157,000
