Best way to get calendar events in notification center?

Hi,

I want to get my calendar events (Don't mind using Google calendar or iOS calendar, whichever works best) to be in the notification center when I swipe down. Not when they are due but say I have an assignment due next week it is just there in notification center everytime I swipe down?

Thanks - There must be something as I am sure alot of people are annoyed the iOS app doesn't allow for this.
