I'm currently looking for a way to get detailed S.M.A.R.T. status for drives, beyond the simple "Verified" note given by Disk Utility.

I've tried a few S.M.A.R.T. utilities, but most of these only report specific attributes, limited only to disk health. While these are nice to know, what I'm really interested in is getting the temperature attribute, which most disks do actually report via S.M.A.R.T., so that I can get temperature as reported by my drives, rather than the temperature of sensors placed near to them (the drives in question aren't inside my Mac).

So far I've not found any utility that allows me to view a full range of attributes, or to supply my own attribute that I'd like to query. Are there any utilities out there that I can use to do this? Command line tools are fine if they're the only option.

I have been using DriveDX. They have a trial version you can use to try it then purchase in the App Store if you want.

It does show the drive temp. This is from my system a minute ago.
