...Is there still one? My dad's phone suddenly died and he wants to buy one as well.

He can't wait in line (he works) and hasn't preordered yet. Anyone know of any retail stores still doing holds / preorders?

just have him drop his kid off around ~3am at one of the stores selling it... he'll be sure to get one then.
