I’m trying to get into my Mac more and get to a point where I can get rid of my Alienware box and have windows on my cMP. I have plenty of games in Windows that don’t move over, that I don’t want to lose. Is boot camp my best option currently or something else?

Boot camp is pretty solid. You can either use the drive from your windows machine, or if you have a spare seagate or WD drive, you can use the branded acronis software to clone it to a new SSD or something. If you're lucky, it'll boot and update drivers, resulting in having to re-activate Windows. If you're not lucky, then you'll need to do an in-place update with a Windows7 disc.
