Hi all,

I currently own a fujistu siemens laptop with Windows XP, and when I want to watch anything I've downloaded, be it standard or high def, I use the DVI our on my laptop with a DVI to HDMI lead which connects to my TV and a separate audio jack to my amp for sound.

With Snow Leopards launch I will be buying an iMac 24'' 2.93ghz and was wondering whats the best way to achieve the same setup as I know the iMac has no DVI or HDMI ports on it...

Get an adaptor? All the new MacBooks/iMacs come with Mini-DisplayPorts instead of Mini-DVI. http://monoprice.com has really good deals on MiniDP to <whatever you need here> adaptors; I just ordered a couple MiniDP->DVI and a MiniDP->HDMI.
