Best way to import Gmail contacts to Outlook 2016 on my Macbook Air?

Gmail exports in CSV and Vcard, when I got to outlook and try to import it asks for pst, old, or outlook data file.

It looks like Outlook 2016 for Mac does not support Google contacts at all.
Maybe you just need to use Contact app in OS X to solve the problem.

Drag the Vcard file to the Outlook contacts window. Works in Outlook 2011 but not sure about 2016.

If Brian's suggestion won't work, try right clicking on the vcard file then select Open With... then Outlook and I believe that will import the cards.
